A new generation is born

I'm back w/ more bits of my life.....Choe and I have become Grandparents!  This is a whole new adventure/stage of our life and we are more than ready to take on this role.  Our oldest daughter Amber Choe Kurosky and her husband Joseph Kurosky welcome Alex Choe Kurosky July 31, 2011 at 5:50pm.  He arrived a few weeks early but is a beautiful, healthy little boy w/ crazy korean head full of hair and for now blue eyes (we so hope they stay).

We received the Call in the middle of the nite on Sat/Sun just after midnite.  Water had broke and they were on the way to the hospital.  Thank God we had TIME because it was a 4 hr. drive and everyone felt it would be better to sleep first and then drive....(SLEEP well that didn't really happen)  Traffic jams, construction, Heavy rain were no match to our determination....We had to get there Before Alex...and we did.  What an experience...seeing Daddy Joe walking towards us w/ his new little bundle of Joy.  Pride, tears of Joy, Wonderment... no word could describe the emotions spilling out of us in that moment.

Since his birth Alex Choe Kurosky had stolen the hearts of many and filled his family w/ many hours of pleasure and naturally some anxiety!  He is thriving in his loving environment and even his 'big bro' Remi (the yorkiepoo) was won over from the first moment he laid eyes (and probably even his nose) on him.  There is not enough time in the day to fulfill our desire to coddle and Spoil our little angel....we could hold, love, and smother Alex w/ kisses 24/7....but I think his parents might protest just a little.  We are extremely grateful to the technology of  today that keeps us close w/ pics, text and daily updates.  Welcome our little Choeby Baby and thanks for letting me share our experience w/ the World.
